Friends Missed Poems
I Miss My
Best Friend by Kayla-Anne Frank
When I think of you I miss it, I miss it all
When I think about you, I fall
And the only one who can catch me is you
But since you've been gone
I've been awake till dawn
Tossing and turning, thinking about you
And all the things that we've been through
In my grandma's car going up some street
With nobody in the passenger seat
And this song on my iPod is playing
I miss when you used to sing this to me
Even though I hate that song
There's nothing I can do but sing along
Because it's the closest thing I've got to you
I miss you and all the things we used to do
I miss the laughter and the late-night calls
I miss the times I could talk to you and just bawl
You're the one who knew the real me
And when I was doing wrong, you'd help me see
And guide me in the proper direction
I miss you,
I even miss all the bullshit you put me through
Ten years from now, and I see you pass me on the street
I'll remember when I'd wake up beside you and smile
And I hope you know, that I'd walk for miles
Just to be by your side again
I Miss by
Erin Elizabeth
I miss the Nothingness of our friendship,
Before things got complicated with the word "love."
I miss when nothing was expected and all was given.
But now, high hopes are crushed my low realities.
