Will You Marry Me Poems
Will You Marry Me by Lynett Moody
Scrutinizing & contemplating
Hearing those special words
"Will You Marry Me".
From the day of my birth
To the ends of the earth
I knew there was destiny
Just lying in wait for me.
Lurking in different places
Acquiring specific tastes
Waiting for a chance
To creep inside my heart.
No need for a book
A glimpse is all it took
To capture the moment
That polaroid left behind.
A vision so tight
The feeling just right
The perfect example of reason
The reason of why I breathe.
Highlights of fame
Hope to share your name
To no longer be two but one
Who's willing to share everything.
I've always dreamed of you
You are my dream come true
Never would I imagine
Actually being a part of a fantasy.
I heard the words in my head
Even pictured them being said
Never would I envision
Me making the decision.
On my knees with glee
Asking you to marry me
But I did.....................
Luckily, you said, "YES".
