TALK ABOUT A
CONVERSATION PIECE! WE BOUGHT THIS OFF A GENTLEMAN IN
HIS 80'S WHO SAID THIS CASKET WAS USED FOR HIS MOTHER'S
VIEWING BEFORE BEING BURIED IN A PINE BOX. HE MENTIONED
IT HELD MANY OTHER BODIES FOR VIEWINGS BEFORE HIS MOM
DIED AND HE PURCHASED IT.
GREAT FOR A HALLOWEEN PROP, OR WHATEVER YOU CAN THINK
OF.
Antique Wicker Removal Basket. Circa late 1800's to
early 1900's ??? Overall, excellent condition for age!!
It has the Handles on both ends, but all the leather
retaining straps are gone: The buckles are still
present, See Pics.
Solid wood bottom is not cracked or damaged that we can
tell. Basket top is in very good condition as well. No
identification markings could be found, they may be
present but we couldn’t find them. Measures a large
apprx. 6 ft by almost 2 ft.
The condition is: Very good considering age & intended
use. |
