GHOST OR
SPIRIT CAPTURED IN SCOTCH BOTTLE, BELIEVED TO BE
PIRATE--- IMPORTANT, PLEASE REAL ALL INFO BEFORE
BIDDING, YOU NEED TO HAVE SOME IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DEALING
WITH IN ACQUIRING THIS BOTTLE AND ITS CONTENTS!
I thought I found a message in a bottle in the Atlantic
Ocean at Ponte Vedre Beach, Florida on Sunday October
12, 2008. I opened it. The paper inside did not say
anything, it was just old and kind of burnt looking.
There were some sand, crushed shells, and other junk in
the bottle. I liked the way the bottle looked (it is a
triangle shape), so I just took it home, figured I would
wash it and sit it in a sunny window (I have several old
and/or unique glass bottles sitting in various windows).
That night, we did not sleep at all. It sounded like our
cats were fighting, but they were asleep with my teenage
daughter in her bed. Things kept bumping and slamming,
and I thought my teenage son was in the kitchen eating
because of all the noises, including running water. I
went to the kitchen. No one in there, and noise was
gone. I went back to bed.
My husband got up shortly because he thought someone was
trying to break in the house through our garage, the
noise was so loud, but he went out with a gun, and no
one was there?? Finally, we got to sleep around 4 am
when it quieted down and stayed that way.
A couple of nights later, banging and racket outside,
sounded like metal trash cans banging, but no one down
our street has metal cans. My husband got up to check it
and when he started down the hallway, it stopped. On
Wednesday, October 15, I was at home on the computer
working (I am a full time student returned to college
after 20 years) and a cold wind blew across the back of
my neck. My hair stood up. I felt sick. I was unable to
move, frozen still with a bad cold chill. It seemed like
it lasted forever but probably was really less than one
minute that I could not move. I was spooked, not sure
why. I looked around me, nothing there. Then my bottle
in the window fell off into the kitchen sink. It did not
break. How strange. Our house is fairly new, brick, and
the recent hurricane winds never came through any cracks
around the window or anything. That bottle really did
just jump off the window on it's own. It was not hanging
off the ledge either, it fit well back into the ledge.
It was stable. It had been there since we brought it
home. I picked it up and it felt warm, and smoke was
swirling inside it. What the heck? A strange, sweet
herbal smell came at me. I sat it on the counter, left
it there and thought I'd wash it in a little while then
put it back in the window sill. When I came back through
to wash it, it was not there. I looked around, thinking
I must have sat it on another part of the counter or
something. Mind you, no one was home except me. I was
alone. So no one moved it playing a prank or anything.
It was over in the floor by my back door, some of the
shells and dirt and "stuff" dumped out into the floor at
it's opening. How odd.
The phone rang right then. I almost jumped out of my
skin. It was my aunt, who lives in Louisiana and leads a
voodoo church down there. She is very sensitive and
often "knows" things. I have not heard from her since
July 2007. She asked if I was okay. I told her yes,
things were okay here. She asked me was I sure. I asked
her what was going on, knowing how "strange" she is. She
said she was dreaming about me last night, she knew I
just moved, did I rent a house that might be haunted? I
laughed. She said "don't laugh at me, it's not polite".
I said sorry, but no, my house wasn't haunted. Then I
saw the bottle on the floor again..... "I don't think" I
told her. She said she knew it, something was going on.
She asked me what? I told her it was stupid and went
into my spill about this bottle. She wanted me to
overnight her some of the "stuff" from the bottle. I
did, just because she swore I had an evil spirit in my
house, and well, we haven't been getting much sleep. She
called me when she got the stuff on Thursday. She said
"you got some evil spirit there in that bottle, but he's
done got on out now, you got to get rid of him". I
laughed, but I was creeped out, scared. She said she
thought he was a pirate (based on the ingredients I sent
her from the bottle) and someone sealed him in that
bottle, and I let him out. Well, I looked online at the
bottle due to my interest in it, it was a scotch bottle,
one that the company does not produce now but did two
years ago when the bottle was labeled, so that ghost had
to be captured in the last two years. My aunt said she
was mailing me a vial of stuff to put in my bottle, and
then to call her and she would instruct me and say
something to put him back in that bottle. I received her
vial on Saturday. We did this on Sunday October 19
because she said wait for Sunday to do it. I put the
stuff in the bottle like she said. I had to get a piece
of paper at least 50 years old and wrap it with a golden
wire, which I did. I had a hard time finding some old
paper, but since we used to collect old dishes, I found
some I was sure was old enough in some stuff I got at
the antique auction. I burned it like she said and
capped the bottle, not with the original cap which I
lost somewhere somehow in this house? She said the cap
wouldn't matter anyway. When I capped the bottle, the
shells and stuff in the bottom of the bottle flew up in
the air, about halfway to the top. I know, it sounds
crazy, and I wouldn't believe it had I not seen it with
my own eyes.
Well, I think he's in the bottle because when I did
this, no smoke from the burning paper really got in the
bottle but last night the bottle smoked all up like a
Halloween fog machine, then just cleared again. Also the
fact that the shells went flying and swirling around. No
more noises in the house, thank goodness.
I am selling this bottle with the ghose pirate inside. I
know many of you don't believe, but I also know many of
you do. I don't know anything about this spirit, I
believe he is at least disruptive if not downright evil.
I CANNOT guarantee you will experience any paranormal
activities or anything of the sort. I don't recommend
you open the bottle, but once it's yours, you can do as
you please with it. I also will send the remainder of
the vial of ingredients I used to trap him with and
instructions. I hope you don't need it.
So, to be clear on this, you are bidding on a scotch
bottle (without the scotch) that I believe I caught a
ghost or spirit inside by using my aunt's voodoo. On the
surface, you are bidding on a scotch bottle with some
shells, sand, unknown substances and burnt paper and
wire inside. You will also receive the instructions
telling you what to do if he gets out, in order to put
him back. Be sure you know this is what you are bidding
on. A bottle with some junk inside it, oh but what
unusual junk it is. :) please see all the pictures....
so you can see the processes involved in catching that
pirate

Added Oct 21, 2008, I want to say this, I am sincere
about this bottle and situation. If you look at my Ebay
history, I have strong feedback and I have never sold
any kind of spirit or mystery acution, etc. This is a
first time attempt because I truly believe I have
something rare here to sell, something I probably
(hopefully) will not ever have again.
Oct 22, 2008 I see lots of people looking and lots of
you watching! Somebody bid, please take this pirate
ghost away!!
