Highest ever
human pyramid
The highest
ever human pyramid was achieved in 2006 by a nationwide
cheerleading team based in the USA.
The combined
efforts of the team reached the amazing height 29,030 ft
- thus achieving a structure 1 foot higher than Everest.
The structure took over 8 weeks to construct - with
helicopters used to feed the girls who were already part
of the structure. The final girl, Grace A. Massing, too
a full three days to climb to the top of the structure.
She said later, "This is one of the most exciting
experiences of my life - it's even better that the lion
eating competition I won in South Africa.
