PLEO Dinosaur
Robot
This dinotronic interactive room dinosaur seems like the
real thing (we imagine). Each Pleo begins life as a
newly-hatched baby Camarasaurus, but grows into its own
dinosaur. Pleo feels hunger and fatigue, wants to
explore and be nurtured. He'll graze, nap, and toddle
about on his own -- whenever he feels like it! Some of
his moods include: playful and lively, happy and
curious, scared and surprised, and. (awww) sad and
vexed. He is touch sensitive, photosensitive, and
capable of hearing. He knows not to walk off of the
table, you can be caressed to sleep, he cuddles, shakes
hands, plays around, is ticklish, sings, makes friends
with other Pleos, and can even play watchdog.
Pleo is an extraordinary toy which offers a glimpse into
what kids of the next ten years will be playing with.
