New Luxury
Vehicle Comes Equipped with Road Rage
Italian auto
maker Unbalancetti unveiled the latest addition to their
fleet of luxury vehicles today. The new Malignità is
targeted at high end consumers in the European and
American markets. A computer module called the RoadRage
Plus® that handles driver interaction comes standard on
this sports car.
Automotive
designer Marco Vecchi explains this technological
advance in a company press release “Our customers need
to stay calm and pay attention to the road; they can’t
afford to divert their attention to expressing anger at
other motor vehicle operators. Our completely automated
system detects unsafe and discourteous behavior. An
enhanced directional speaker delivers an easy to
interpret audio message to the other driver - so you
don’t have to.”

Most of the
pre-programmed options are G rated. However, some of the
stronger warnings include “Hey, moron, ever heard of
using your turn indicator?” and “Watch where you’re
going, jackass!” The message system can also be fully
customized at the user’s discretion.
“We don’t encourage the use of profanity and obscenity”
says Vecchi “But we understand that sometimes you need
to let those #@*$@*#!* know how you really feel.”
Unbalancetti
takes no responsibility for the content drivers choose
to record on the audio chip or for any resulting
altercations. The manufacturer intends to roll out a
visual component for the RoadRage Plus® system early in
2010.
